My Wholistic Life Poems - Uncertainty is bliss

In the eyes of uncertainty

I am a fiery ball of determination 

but with the delicate beauty of a flower

that expands inwardly and 

enchants outwardly

One thing I'm certain,

I long for my passions as 

they long for me, 

the inevitable truth that 

my arrogant knowledge has 

concealed from me

Nevertheless my pleasures have been tricking me

as to where the focus should be placed on 

or taken from

Without the goddess in me 

I am definitely misguided, disorientated, 

as the earthly aberrations defile 

the beauty of authentic self expression 

that relies on me.

I defy the ordinary and dull

because there is more to life 

than the torments of unfulfilled desire, 

there is magic beyond the limits of lack of imagination 

If I am to claim back the power

that life has given me, 

may it be a loving and 

compassionate energy and 

a will to thrive

Because as morbid as it may sound, 

I don't want to ever feel life slipping away from me 

as much as a whisper of solitude,

and loneliness

But a hunger and an eagerness 

that I nourish and flourish 

in the realms of retribution and gratefulness of 

the joy of what creation can achieve and provide

The universe doesn't ever fail in that quest, 

and the hearts never fail in their longings, 

and so in peace I rest my soul 

with the certainty that 

as uncertain as our existence can be 

I believe in the miracle of creation,

and I'm part of it.
