My Wholistic Life Poems - Heart
Heart, I must tell you,
It's just too soon!
Can't you see?
Heart, just hang in there,
You feel too much!
Don't you follow the rules?
Can't you obey the conventions
of the world?
What kind of natural phenomenon is this
that emanates from you,
that makes you believe that
you should be the guide?
Who do you think you are, anyway?
Is it possible that you have
a life of your own?
Is it possible that you beat
without consent, without regrets,
without shame, without fear?
What gives you the right to be
the engine of my living,
the truth that rules all of my kind,
the only faith that I aspire to have?
Heart, you are a trap!!!
Oh Heart, I must apologise for my ignorance,
I must apologise for my disbelief,
I must apologise for my disconnection,
I didn't know any better,
that my existence was conditioned by default.
Oh heart, I must thank you!
I must thank you for being
the driving force of all times,
for leading the way when I have failed to love,
for being the core of my dreams,
the core of my soul,
the portal to the deepest wonders that
I am eager to know.
Recognising that you make me
fall on my knees so I can
understand that I must be humble,
and that I should surrender
to the flow of life,
to God's will and purpose.
Heart, I trust you and I bow!
Sovereign of my life,
Reality is that you are always right,
even when you are wrong,
You know me better than anyone.
I beg you please, be with me,
don't let me go
because I fear my head may take control,
May it just be subtle and heart unfelt,
for I want to be free to be myself.
